It is home to the Digital Training Unit within the Department of Technology and is well positioned to deliver training in emerging & ubiquitous digital tools. Prior years have seen staff at Innovation Hub spearhead several initiatives aimed at getting children and teens excited about technology. Our annual Future Skills Summer Camp targets children and teens ages 10-15 for two weeks of collaborative learning in 3D printing, augmented reality, and robotics.

Build’n’Code

Training for public officers in digital skills is also provided through the Unit’s Think Digital Training Programme. With course content structured into three tiers, this programme aims to instill public officers with the confidence and competence needed to perform knowledge work effectively and efficiently.

The Digital Training Unit also equips public officers with the tools to rethink business processes within the public sector, in a way that incorporates digital tools and encourages collaboration and efficiency in service delivery.
